How the standard group course works
The course gives you a clear weekly rhythm: Russian lessons from Monday to Friday in the morning, then time after class for Saint Petersburg, homework, excursions or additional individual lessons.
Lessons combine speaking, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening. The group format keeps the class active, while the small group setting gives each student regular speaking time and direct feedback from the teacher.

What happens in class
Speaking practice
You use Russian actively through guided dialogues, questions, short tasks and classroom conversation.
Grammar in context
New forms are explained through examples and practice, so rules become easier to use in real communication.
Useful vocabulary
Lessons include words and phrases you can reuse outside school: in cafes, shops, transport and everyday conversations.
Reading and listening
You work with level-appropriate texts, audio and tasks, gradually moving towards more natural Russian.

I did a 2-week intensive Russian course at Educacentre in line with "Bildungsurlaub". What I loved about this school is that it is very well organized. I had applied for "Bildungsurlaub" before at another school, but it was a big fuss because my employer is in Hessen, where the rules are stricter than in other parts of Germany.
