How individual Russian lessons work

Individual lessons are built around your level, schedule and reasons for learning Russian. The teacher can focus on exactly what you need instead of following the pace of a group.

Before or at the start of the course, we clarify your aims: everyday communication, grammar, pronunciation, exam preparation, professional Russian or another practical goal. The plan can then be adjusted as you progress.

What your lessons can focus on

Everyday communication

Practise speaking for cafes, shops, transport, appointments, social situations and daily life in Russia.

Grammar and pronunciation

Work carefully on cases, verbs, sentence structure, pronunciation or other points that need correction.

Professional Russian

Prepare for meetings, emails, presentations, interviews or vocabulary connected with your field.

Exam preparation

Use private lessons for TRKI/TORFL sections, sample tasks, writing practice or speaking simulation.

How a private lesson plan is built

A private course does not need to follow the same path for every student. The plan is adjusted to your level, weak points and available time.

GoalsWe clarify what you need Russian for and how much time you have.
LevelThe teacher checks your current language level and practical strengths.
FocusLessons concentrate on the skills and topics that matter most.
ReviewThe plan can change as your Russian improves or your priorities shift.

Student testimonials:

I wanted to email you before, but last week was crazy after a whole month out, just to say thank you for everything. I had a good experience at Educacentre, and I was very happy with my host family, Elena is very nice.

Regarding my teachers, Ksenia Spiridonova was amazing. She helped me start speaking Russian since the first day. I was lucky to be alone the first few days, so I got extra attention and the result was amazing. Vladimir was also a very good teacher. He helped me a lot with conversations about everyday topics: religion, politics, traveling, education, etc. I requested that and he did great. And finally, about my accommodation. The place was amazing, and the location was great for the school, so I was in general very happy. Daria was nice to me and in general she helped me with anything I would need. I learnt a lot, I loved the school, and I loved the city. So again, thank you very much to the whole Educacentre team.
